WHO WE ARE

We love playing with words correctly, imaginatively and effectively, and we are very good at making magic using the right sentences, in order to get the perfect balance between the original text and the translated one.

Our team is made up of translators with an excellent command of English and French and a flawless command of written Romanian. They all have a BA or an MA degree in Philology, with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Most important of all, they are in permanent contact with the source language. Your final product will not be a mere rendering of sentences into Romanian, but also a rendering of ideas, taking into account the style, the nuances of the text and the target audience.
We are a small, but perfect team and for us translation is not an industry. Each project is unique and deserves our full concentration and inspiration.
We honestly hate bad or unfortunate translations, which could sometimes turn a film scene into a fiasco, and we believe that both the audience and the film deserve and need good translation.
Last but not least, we understand urgent deadlines and do our best to keep the quality standards irrespective of the duration or size of the project.

We mainly built our experience on translation of film scripts, of spotting lists and dialogue lists, of theatre plays and books, of film treatments and director’s notes, as well as real time subtitling.
Having already dealt with various formats of script or dialogue lists, with different templates of screenwriting and screenplay software (like Final Draft), it make it easy for us to learn a new programme if necessary.
